Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at radio and television stations? Has anyone ever told you that you’d make a great entertainer or announcer? In the Radio & Television Broadcasting and Production class, you’ll be working in front of the camera AND behind the scenes! You’ll produce your own radio and television programs using new, state of-the-art equipment. You’ll work with students from other districts and within EMCC to create exciting audio and visual presentations. Imagine yourself as the host of your own cable access TV program! Picture yourself behind the mic at 90.5 FM WBER. Imagine working alongside industry professionals and building a professional resume before you leave high school! Radio & Television Broadcasting students participate in many field trips, including local radio & television stations, as well as various audio and video studios. We’ll even send you on a 45,000-mile round trip journey, bouncing your image off a TV satellite.
