Teacher Certification Office

Regional certification offices are operated by Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES).  The Regional Certification Officer can advise on NYS requirements for certification, evaluate official college transcripts, and offer expedited processing of applications.

The Monroe #1 BOCES Regional Certification Office provides assistance to component school districts on the eastside of the Genesee River.

Please note:
For teachers from non-component school districts who utilize this certification service, there is a $30.00 fee.
