Monroe #1 BOCES Music Library The Music Library at Monroe #1 BOCES contains over 3,700 titles of choral, band, orchestra, string orchestra, jazz band and jazz vocal music which can be borrowed by those who are paying members of the library service. Membership is open to all districts in New York state. For information on the benefits of membership and the associated fee, please contact Roger Wink at roger_wink@boces.monroe.edu. Loan Policy for Music - Selections may be borrowed by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), the Monroe County School Music Association and the schools and organizations that have paid the library participation fee.
- Music borrowed is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Music may be borrowed for one semester only unless prior arrangements have been made.
- When ordering, please provide the following information for each piece:
- Catalog Number
- Title of Selection
- Composer
- Date Required
- Number of Copies (Choral) or Sets (Band and Orchestra)
- Voicing (Choral Only)
- District
- School
- Conductor/Music Educator
- Date of Performance
- All music is numbered for inventory purposes. Do not remove or change any numbering.
- Prior to returning the music, the borrowing organization will:
- Repair all music
- Collate music
- Band and and Orchestra Music - Place in score order, as numbered, with the Conductor’s Score on top
- Choral Music – Place in numerical order. - Replace ALL lost parts including scores. The cost would be the responsibility of the borrower.
- Include a program of the festival with the music

Music Catalog Files Below are the files which show our current library holdings. For each type of music, there are separate files for: - Basic List - By Composer - Lists composer, title, arranger, publisher, quantity owned and catalog number, sorted by composer. Vocal music also shows the voicing.
- Basic List - By Title - Lists title, composer, arranger, publisher, quantity owned and catalog number, sorted by title. Vocal music also shows the voicing.
- Complete Info - By Title - Lists all information as basic list plus (when available) additional title information, publisher catalog number, date of publication, complexity level, length, SmartMusic availability, instrumentation, notes on our copies (i.e., missing parts) and comments about the piece.
