The School Library System (consisting of sixty five school libraries within the ten school districts of the Monroe #1 BOCES) is part of a statewide interlibrary loan network that makes it possible for patrons to get almost any information needed. This sharing of resources among libraries provides access to all of the other libraries within the school library system and to virtually every library of every kind in New York State. Monroe #1 BOCES utilizes SchoolCat a shared electronic bulletin board with Monroe #2 BOCES, WFL BOCES, Genesse Valley BOCES, and The Rochester City School District to transmit ILL requests. Also available to member libraries is WorldCat.org and LIBRA (Library Information Bridge for the Rochester Area), which provides access to the Monroe County Library System's online catalog, and numerous magazine indexes, databases, and library catalogs. For more information on Interlibrary Loan, contact Bobbi Persson at (585)-383-6623.
