  • What do I need to know about Adobe Digital Editions?

    Posted by:

If you use the READ in Browser or LISTEN in Browser option rather than DOWNLOAD, you will not need to set up an Adobe Digital Editions account.

Adobe Digital Editions is a FREE program and each user must have an Adobe Digital Editions account in order to check out eBooks from OverDrive.

You will be prompted to authorize Adobe Digital Editions the first time you use a computer or mobile device.

Adobe Digital Editions can be authorized on up to 6 devices/computers at one time.

You should only have to go through the authorization process the first time you use a device, after that, it should remember you and check outs will be quick and easy.

NOTE: You do NOT have to use your real name or a real email to set up an Adobe Digital Editions account!
