Put your artistic talents to work by entering the world of style and beauty. Upon completing 1,000 hours of the Cosmetology program, you will qualify for the New York State Cosmetology Licensing Examination. This license will allow you to work on hair, skin, and nails for both men and women.

Gain hands-on training in areas such as hair cutting, coloring, styling, nail enhancements, skin care, and make-up. Learn the latest techniques and apply them in our full-service salon, which is open to the public.

Classroom training is reinforced with field trips to salons, hair styling shows, and presentations made by guest speakers from the industry. To be a successful employee, you will study salon management, marketing, and communication.

In order to complete the 1,000 hours required for the New York State licensing, you will attend the cosmetology program for two school years and one summer session.
