iHealth Home COVID Test FAQDue to the increasing circulation of the Delta COVID variant, the New York State Department of Health now requires schools to conduct weekly screening testing of all staff. Employees are able to opt out of the weekly tests if they voluntarily provide their vaccination status. Weekly screening testing is also available to students who wish to participate.

This page serves as a resource for Monroe One staff, students, and families to stay up-to-date on testing requirements, vaccine opportunities, and reported COVID cases involving a member of our immediate school community.

  • In a continued commitment to keep our school community safe and healthy, Monroe One has developed this page as a resource for students, families, and staff members.

While the daily reporting gives a snapshot of current COVID cases involving a Monroe One student or staff member, anyone who has been identified as a close contact of those individuals testing positive will be contacted directly by health officials.

The following chart shows Positive COVID cases as reported to the NYSDOH. Health officials will reach out directly to anyone identified as a close contact during their contact tracing. The category listed as 'other' will include staff members who do not work in student program-specific departments.
