Urban-Suburban Students Honored for Leadership and Service at Monroe County Youth Awards

Congratulations to the six Urban-Suburban students recognized at the 2025 Monroe County Youth Awards, held on April 24. The annual event celebrates young people who exemplify leadership, community service, and a commitment to making a difference. 

The following students were nominated by Monroe County Legislators: 

Quay-Marr Ragsdale Harvey – Nominated by Legislator Cruz, District 21 

Kimbrance Allen – Nominated by Legislator Delvecchio Hoffman, District 25 

Amia Murray – Nominated by Legislator Delvecchio Hoffman, District 25 

Brennen Watson – Nominated by Legislator Delvecchio Hoffman, District 25 

Charizma Scott – Nominated by Legislator Bonnick, District 27 

Joymira Reed – Nominated by Legislator Frazier, District 28 

A special congratulations to Charizma Scott, who was awarded the Young Citizen of the Year! She was selected for her dedication to uplifting her neighborhood, school, and home community—demonstrating exceptional leadership, service, and compassion for her peers.
