EMCC programs collaborate for Halloween fun

Monroe One BOCES' Foreman Center was full of excitement and collaboration on Halloween!

EMCC’s Early Childhood Education students and their Teens & Tots students visited the Culinary Arts program for this annual, cross-program collaboration. The little ones made a variety of treats and foods with the Culinary students before they visited several other EMCC programs to trick or treat.

Culinary Arts instructor Shannon Speranza said it’s the third year the two programs have collaborated on this event.

“Having the ability to pair two programs together to benefit the community and provide students with a hands-on learning experience benefits all involved,” said Speranza.

Early Childhood Education teacher Danielle Depeaux added, “This is something that we look forward to every year. It’s great to see everyone working together and having fun!
