EMCC Advanced Culinary students experienced a great time at the Rochester National Center for Missing & Exploited Children fundraiser, DISH IT OUT, Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Floreano Convention Center. Students volunteered at several stations and competed as well. They were awarded the People's Choice Award (1st place) for desserts for the fourth consecutive year!
“We were honored and excited to receive our fourth consecutive People's Choice Award for Best Dessert: Chocolate Cake with Mocha Italian Butter Cream, Iron Smoke Whiskey Caramel & Vanilla Custard,” stated Culinary Arts Teacher Shannon Speranza. “Our students did an amazing job as always! So proud of them all.”
