Creekside School gets to STOMP

Students from Creekside got to see music in action this past Saturday, watching the show STOMP at the Auditorium Theatre.

Music Therapist Sarah Wendl spearheaded the effort, working with RBTL to secure a grant opportunity for the students to attend. The students, who participate in the steel drum band at school, were able to enjoy the international percussion sensation from the lower orchestra.

STOMP is described as a witty, wordless show that creates music out of found objects from push brooms to garbage cans.

Students, support staff, and parents were able to take in the sights and sounds – a fun opportunity for everyone!
