A Community Together (ACT) for Education held a Community Champion for Public Education ceremony on May 5, honoring a number of local businesses and community partners who support our districts and students across the county.
Monroe One was given the opportunity to acknowledge the commitment and collaboration with Wilbert’s Family Enterprises, awarding Aaron Wilbert and Tyler Petrie with our Community Champion for Public Education award!
Aaron and his team work closely with Eastern Monroe Career Center’s Collision Repair class, even inviting our students out to his facility to tour and pick car parts for hands-on experience within their EMCC workshop.
Aaron and Tyler were both students of BOCES Career and Technical Education programs, and continue to give back to the next generation of students.
