Virtual visits are $1,500/day, all-inclusive (with a complimentary set of 10 signed I Survived books donated to the school's library with one presentation, and a complete set of 30 with two presentations).
Lauren is only doing virtual visits due to her work schedule.
Best-selling author of children’s historical fiction. Lauren’s presentation combines accounts of hope and resilience with insights into the process of researching and writing. She shares her story of being a struggling reader with little writing ability to become a successful author.
One of her most recent books is I Survived the Wellington Avalanche, 1910 (I Survived series #22 Gr. 3-7). She is also the author of the award-winning Emma-Jean Lazarus Fell Out of a Tree, and is the editor of Storyworks Magazine, contributing nonfiction articles.
