Urban-Suburban parent, PAC co-chair featured in New Yorker article

A mother of three and leader in our Urban-Suburban (U-S) community was interviewed as part of a story for The New Yorker. Janice Kpor is the co-chair of the U-S Parent Advisory Council. The writer of the article, Alec MacGillis, detailed everything from her upbringing to her children’s journey with the Rochester City School District and Urban-Suburban, and how she felt about the closure of School 10. 

The story focused on the enrollment rate and school closures in Rochester as well as the effects of school closures on city families and students with special needs.
