The Executive Director's role is direct oversight and management of the Monroe County School Boards Association.  The Executive Director has a deep knowledge of and commitment to the work of public education.  This position requires experience in school board governance or school district administration and extensive knowledge of school district organization and operations.  The Executive Director is familiar with federal and state laws and regulations governing public education and leads the association's membership in local and state advocacy efforts.
