How to Register for a Meeting

    • Or click on the Registration link in a Parent Group Meeting Notice Reminder emailed to families from Urban-Suburban two weeks prior to the meeting.

    • Parents wishing to attend must register in advance.

    • All registrations will be approved on a first come first serve basis until meeting is at capacity.

    • After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

    Students use social media to stay connected with friends and family, share their interests, educational resources, and explore communities beyond their immediate surroundings. However, with American pre-teens spending an average of five and a half hours a day on these platforms, there is a significant risk of encountering harmful content or situations. Discover some of the major risks associated with social media, what schools do to limit and monitor social media usage. Learn how parents, family, and friends can remain vigilant to help ensure your child's safety.

  • Trade Schools/Post Graduate Options

    The meeting is designed to explore alternative pathways available to high school graduates for acquiring skills and securing employment. We will hear presentations from the following guests; Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship, Rochester AmeriCorps and Rochester Educational Opportunity Center. These organizations will provide insights into their programs and how they can benefit students seeking alternative routes to career and educational success.

    The purpose of this meeting is to thoroughly examine the facts about adolescent drug use and its impact on children. We aim to have open discussions with teens about drugs, including the risks and effects associated with various substances. These conversations are intended to help students feel more confident and informed in making sound decisions now and in the future.

    Parent Meetings are virtual via Zoom, and will be held at 12 noon, 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. Open House is this year's only in-person meeting.

    These are the dates for Urban-Suburban Parent Meetings; however there may be conditions beyond our control that occur during the school year that may cause changes.

    Parents are required to attend a minimum of 2 meetings per year. If you do not fulfill your meeting requirement, you will be referred to the Superintendent of your district.
