Historically Black Colleges and Universities

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.Please join us for an introduction to Historically Black Colleges and Universities for students in the Urban-Suburban Program. HBCU’s offer all students, regardless of race, an opportunity to develop their skills and talents. These institutions train young people who go on to serve domestically and internationally in professions such as entrepreneurs and in the public and private sectors.

Mental Health

It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Please join us for this in-depth discussion on mental health and its importance.

Teen Drug Use

Time: 7:00pm-8:30pmThe focus of this meeting is to fully understand the facts about teen drug use in relation to children. To sit down and talk to teens about drugs and the risks and effects different drugs have. These conversations will help students feel more confident and comfortable about making the right choices both now, and in the future.

These are the dates for Urban-Suburban Parent Meetings; however there may be conditions beyond our control that occur during the school year that may cause changes.
Parents are required to attend a minimum of 2 meetings per year. If you do not fulfill your meeting requirement, you will be referred to the Superintendent of your district.
