2020-21 Schedule for Adult Career Training

- Classes start 9/8/20 and end 6/12/21.
- Each program below is 412 hours total and involves working towards Certification of Completion from EMCC.
- Courses are offered in conjunction with High School Level Career and Technical Education Programs at EMCC, pending available roster spots.
- Schedules and tuition rates are subject to change.

Attendance Policy
- Classroom instructors record and maintain attendance on a daily basis, noting
tardiness and early departure whenever such situations occur. - If you will be absent from class, phone the instructor in the classroom or contact the
EMCC Counseling/Attendance Office at 585-387-3816. - Attendance letters will be generated at absences of 6 days, 13, and 18 days. Funders
also receive a copy of each letter. - Internships and Co-Ops are available with a recommendation from the classroom
teacher and 90% attendance. - If 19 or more days of class time are missed, the student will not receive a certificate,
and may be asked to withdraw from the program.
While we understand unexpected situations arise, there are no excused absences. All
missed time will be counted.

Paid In Full Tuition Refund Policy
Effective September 1, 2020
This policy applies to any situation or any reason, where a student leaves or drops from a career training program.
- If the student drops from a career training program one full week prior to the start date of the program…A 100% of the tuition payment can be given.
- If the student drops less than one week before the start of class or drops after the start of the course...No Refund is given. You owe the total cost of the program.

Tuition Paid in Installments Policy
Effective September 1, 2020
This policy applies to any situation or any reason, where a student leaves or drops from a career training program.
- If the student drops from a career training program one full week prior to the start date of the program…A 100% Refund of the tuition payment may be given.
- If the student drops less than one week before the start of class or drops after the start of the course...The student owes the balance of the tuition cost. Unpaid balances will be forwarded to a Collection Agency.
