Journey with Giants - The Whale Shark

Whale Sharks (Rhincodon typus) are the largest fish alive today.  In fact, they are the largest of all sharks… yet they are known as ”Gentle Giants”.   Though they are equipped with over 3,000 teeth and have teeth around their eyeballs, they are completely harmless.  The Whale Shark feeds on some of the smallest creatures in the water.  They eat plankton and move in order to find enough food to sustain their enormous size. Whale Sharks are found in tropical oceans due to temperature. Each Whale Shark has it’s own unique color pattern which makes them easy to identify.  Once hunted, they are now protected and are visited by scuba divers and snorkelers alike.  Join Commander Robson in a highly interactive and visually engaging experience as you “Journey with Giants” and other creatures such as Manta Rays, Giant Grouper, Hammerhead Sharks, Saw Tooth Sharks, Pork Fish and more...
