Cathy Hauber, Ed.D.
District Superintendent
Dr. Cathleen Hauber serves as the District Superintendent at Monroe One BOCES. She joined the organization in 2017 as Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Programs and was named Deputy District Superintendent in 2023.
Cathy holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Rochester, a Master’s from Canisius College, and a Bachelor’s from the University at Buffalo.
With a background in counseling and school leadership, Dr. Hauber previously served as Elementary Principal at Marion Central School and as a school counselor and program coordinator in Phelps-Clifton Springs. She is deeply involved in regional and state-level educational initiatives, with a focus on teacher leadership, standards-based grading, and collaborative school cultures.

Bridget Harris
Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Technology
Bridget Harris brings extensive experience in education and leadership to her role as Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Technology. She has served Monroe One in multiple roles, including Director of the Monroe Regional Information Center and Assistant Director of the Monroe Accountability, Assessment & Reporting Service (MAARS).
Bridget has been a classroom teacher, building principal, and instructional leader. She is committed to high standards of teaching and learning, fostering collaboration, and ensuring cybersecurity remains central to Monroe One’s digital mission.

Tera Strauss
Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Programs
Tera Strauss brings over two decades of experience in education to her role as Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Programs. Prior to this, she served as Principal of Bird/Morgan School, where she was known for her student-centered leadership and dedication to equity and excellence.
Tera holds certifications in district and building leadership, elementary and special education, and has taught in both general and special education settings. Her leadership experience spans Monroe One, East Irondequoit, and Hilton Central School Districts. She is committed to fostering inclusive, data-informed, and collaborative learning environments where all students thrive.
