  • Culinary students earn People’s Choice Award for 4th consecutive year

    EMCC Advanced Culinary students experienced a great time at the Rochester National Center for Missing & Exploited Children fundraiser, DISH IT OUT, Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Floreano Convention Center. Students volunteered at several stations and competed as well. They were awarded the People's Choice Award (1st place) for desserts for the fourth consecutive year!

  • EMCC programs collaborate for Halloween fun

    Monroe One BOCES' Foreman Center was full of excitement and collaboration on Halloween! EMCC’s Early Childhood Education students and their Teens & Tots students visited the Culinary Arts program for this annual, cross-program collaboration. The little ones made a variety of treats and foods with the Culinary students before they visited several other EMCC programs to trick or treat.

  • Shelley's Closet now located at the Foreman Center

    Shelley’s Closet, a clothing bank that serves students, staff and families throughout Monroe One BOCES, celebrated its new home in the Foreman Center with a grand re-opening on Oct. 23.

  • EMCC students participate in NYSSBA Convention

    Eastern Monroe Career Center (EMCC) students attended the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) Convention on October 24-25 at the Joseph A. Floreano Riverside Convention Center. EMCC students from the Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts and Visual Communication and Photography programs shared their experiences and information about their programs at EMCC’s booth in the Student Showcase.
