• O'Connor Academy

The O'Connor Academy is a small, structured, special education (6:1:1) high school program of about 110 students in grades 9–12. We provide students with all necessary requirements to achieve a NYS Regents or Local diploma and/or CDOS credential. We collaborate with students, their families, districts, and the community to maximize the unique potential of each our student’s career, social, and personal success. All staff members are trained to meet the academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of our students.

Students are eligible to participate in career and technical education classes in our building and/or in a vocational program on campus. These are offered at a variety of skill levels. In addition, students may be eligible for a variety of paid work study opportunities. We strive to connect students with all necessary community agencies and supports to ensure a seamless transition from school to college or a career.

O’Connor Academy is hosting an online art show!

  • O'Connor Academy online art show

The online art show features artwork created by O’Connor students in Studio Art and Ceramics classes. Students completed the artwork prior to the school closings.

A special thank you to O’Connor Art Teacher Virginia Malone for organizing the online art show!
