Teacher Certification Office

  • The Monroe One BOCES Regional Certification Office works in conjunction with the New York State Education Department.

    This office only evaluates Teaching Assistant, Coaching and Teacher Professional Certificate Progression applications at this time. All other Teacher, Administrator and Pupil Personnel Services applications will be reassigned to the state. 

    The Monroe One BOCES Regional Certification Office assists and acts as a resource to component school districts on the east side of the Genesee River.

    Monroe One BOCES is not an approved provider for the updated Child Abuse/Mandated Reporter workshop. Please refer to the TEACH website for a list of approved providers and a listing of who is required to take the updated workshop: Child Abuse Identification Workshop (NYSED OTI)
