The high school equivalency (HSE) program is a half day program designed for students ages 16-21 years old who may not be meeting with success in a traditional high school setting. Students work at their own pace to prepare for the HSE exam. Students work under the direction of a teacher to prepare for the five different areas tested in the exam. Students are strongly encouraged to take a vocational program for the other half of the day to better prepare them for work following successful completion of the HSE exam. Vocational programs or work experience programs are available at an additional cost.
