The Monroe 1 RIC Web Filtering Device Service is designed to meet the growing need of school districts to manage and regulate internet traffic for devices and networks. The RIC will provide and engineer the back-end design that will provide the necessary integration with third party web-filtering solutions to the cloud and back to the local device. Based on CIPA and E-rate funding, web-filtering is required as a best effort for students and highly recommended for staff by helping to block and protect end users from internet content that violates typical acceptable use policies.
