      Association for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired is a membership organization dedicated to promoting and supporting Vision professionals. Within the “Professional Development” pulldown, links are provided on becoming a vision professional, as well as AER approved University Programs.

    • Pathways to Certification:
      NYS Education Department provides information and sequences that are required to become a certified Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVI) in NYS.

    • TSBVI:
      Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired provides a listing of college and university programs that provide training to individuals interested in becoming professionals in the field of visual impairments.
