Behavioral Health Services
Monroe One BOCES Behavioral Health Services is a large department comprised of 50 staff members in total, including school psychologists, school social workers and behavior specialists. Each team utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach, working with other educators, related service providers and student support staff to analyze, collaborate and provide individualized interventions to maximize each student’s potential. Dedicated providers foster strength-based skills, while also embedding support to address challenges. Behavioral health staff consult with staff, families and community resources to ensure comprehensive support is available and accessed.
Behavioral Health staff are integral members of our special education programs within Monroe One. In addition, Monroe One strives to partner with component districts to provide a range of services designed to help students achieve success in their home school settings.
