The mission of Helmer Nature Center is to utilize the natural world to provide practical, integrated learning opportunities, foster environmental awareness, and promote the concept of global stewardship and lifelong learning.  The facility offers a 45-acre outdoor classroom of woods and wetlands for groups of all ages to learn about and celebrate our natural heritage.
