Conferences and Workshops

Employees may participate in additional staff development activities such as those offered through conferences/workshops, district teacher centers, and the BOCES’ Office of School Services if the offering matches a pre-established goal for your professional growth. Conference monies may be used to cover pre-approved registration fees and expenses. In the WinCapWeb Professional Development module, there is a catalog of many activities that internal staff can register for. All Professional Development activities must be approved by your Supervisor and you are required to follow department procedures for reporting your absence for that day.
