If you work eight (8) continuous hours:

• you get a 30 minute paid lunch break;
• you also get a 15 minute break;
• you can check with your supervisor to see if you can combine your lunch with your break for a forty-five (45) minute lunch.

If you work six (6) hours:

• you get a 30 minute paid lunch break.

Please note: 

No one gets an hour lunch!

• Smoking is not allowed on school property or in BOCES’ vehicles.
• If you leave the school grounds for a “smoke” break, this time is included as part of your 30 minutes for 6 hour employees and 45 minutes for 8 hour employees.
