Board of Education
The BOCES Board of Education is comprised of ten non-salaried, dedicated individuals nominated by their component district Boards of Education. Names of those nominated were presented to the Clerk of the BOCES Board of Education at least fourteen days prior to the April Annual Meeting. BOCES Board members are then elected by a majority vote of all component school district board members present and voting.As elected representatives, the members of the BOCES Board of Education are responsible for setting policies and working with the Administration to implement them.

Mrs. Kim McCluski
President
Term Ends: 2022
Appointed to serve on the Monroe One BOCES Board of Education in 2020 as the Pittsford Central School District representative. Mrs. McCluski also serves on the Facilities Committee, the District-Wide Safety Committee and the Monroe County School Boards Association’s Legislative Committee and COAC.

Mr. D. Bryan Buttram
Vice President
Term Ends: 2022
Appointed to serve on the Monroe One BOCES Board of Education in 2001 as the Rush-Henrietta Central School District representative. Mr. Buttram also serves on the Facilities Committee and the Policy Committee. He serves as the Voting Delegate member of the New York State School Boards Association and is a committee member on the Monroe County School Boards Association's Labor Relations Committee.

Mrs. Margaret Burns
Term Ends: 2022
Appointed to serve on the Monroe One BOCES Board of Education in 2021 as the West Irondequoit Central School District representative. Mrs. Burns also serves on the District-Wide Safety Committee and the Monroe County School Boards Association’s Information Exchange Committee.

Mrs. Christine DeTurck
Term Ends: 2023
Appointed to serve on the Monroe One BOCES Board of Education in 2008 as the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District representative. Mrs. DeTurck previously served on the BOCES Board from 1994-2003, serving as Vice President from 1997-1999 and President from 1999 to 2002. She currently serves on the Internal Audit Committee and Technology Committee.

Mr. Mark Kokanovich

Appointed to serve on the Monroe One BOCES Board of Education in 2021 as the Brighton Central School District representative. He also serves on the Technology Committee, the Facilities Committee and the Monroe County School Boards Association Information Exchange Committee. -
Mrs. Lisa Latten
Term Ends: 2023
Appointed to serve on the Monroe One BOCES Board of Education in 2020 as the Penfield Central School District representative. Mrs. Latten also serves on the Policy Committee, the District-Wide Safety Committee and the Monroe County School Boards Association’s Legislative Committee.

Mr. Tom Nespeca

Appointed to serve on the Monroe One BOCES Board of Education in 2015 as the Webster Central School District representative. Mr. Nespeca also serves on the Internal Audit Committee, the Technology Committee and the Monroe County School Boards Association’s Legislative Committee. He also serves as the Legislative Liaison of the New York State School Boards Association. -
Ms. Maureen Nupp

Appointed to serve on the Monroe One BOCES Board of Education in 2018 as the Fairport Central School District representative. Ms. Nupp also serves on the Internal Audit Committee, the District-wide Safety Committee, the Technology Committee and the Monroe County School Boards Association's Labor Relations Committee.
