Radon Testing of School Buildings

Radon testing was done in December 2014 for all Monroe One BOCES occupied structures, in compliance with New York State Education Department Uniform Safety Standards for School Construction and Maintenance.
These results indicate that the radon levels in all tested areas of Monroe One BOCES are below the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) action level of 4.0 picoCuries per liter of air (pCi/L).
The reports are available for inspection by all interested persons, during normal business hours, when school is in session, in:Operations & Maintenance Office,
